Bokor Hill Station (South Cambodia) – 4. Journey, Day 1

Day 1 (Phnom Penh – Bokor Hill Station)

Bokor Hill Station (South Cambodia) – 3. Motorcycle

I rented my motorcycle from Lucky! Lucky! which is one of two (the other being New! New! and located justed new door to Lucky! Lucky!) Phnom Penh motorcycle rental shops listed in Lonely Planet Cambodia. Lucky! Lucky! is located at 413 Monivong Blvd near Capitol Guesthouse. Their contact numbers are (023)212788 and (023)220988. Alternatively, you can reach them via fax at 012892856. The manager of Lucky! Lucky! is Bunhieng Tang.

Lucky! Lucky! has a fleet of Honda Wave, Honda Degree 250 and Honda XR 250 Baja. For the type of terrain at Bokor Hill, a scrambler like Honda Degree 250 or Honda XR 250 Baja would make better choices. Both scramblers are four-stroked, electric start motorcycles known for their reliability and performance in off-road conditions. Compare to Honda Degree 250, Honda XR 250 Baja is a larger scrambler and not suitable for riders of smaller built. Lucky! Lucky! rents out both models at US$6-9 per day, with the option of adding a helmet at US$1 per day.
